where have the years gone?? As i have grown older, I would think I would have more time.  I am sure I can think of a few excuses.  My life seems to be pretty boring as far as social activities.  I can pretty much pin point why.  When I was active in real estate, I had real estate friends, when I lived in an active adult community, I had neighbor friends, and due to California being an expensive state to live in, several of my friends have moved to other states.  I do belong to a great church and have made a couple friends there but they are married and some have small children.  I am thankful for my notary business which gets me out there among people and I also help out at the local Postal Annex when they are in need of an onsite notary.  My son moved back to the area a few months ago and I do get to spend time with him.  I am blessed I am healthy and able to keep on keeping on.

Here I am again..ignoring my blogging...good excuse.. been very busy with real estate and my mobile notary business has been amazing... getting ready though to take a few days of R&R up at my cousins in Long Beach..although..she doesnt let me lay around..always fun things to do..out to eat..visiting friends..playing cards but like that kind of busy.

Been a long  time and a lot of changes. The most exciting thing is that after several years of having my own real estate brokerage, I recently joined Carrington Real Estate Services in Escondido.  Very excited to get back in the mix and help people obtain home ownership.

May is the fifth month of the year, has 31 days and has several days to celebrate. There is Cinco de Mayo, Mothers Day, Memorial Day and many other notable days.

May day was fun when I was growing up..we called it May basket day.  Mom would take a cupcake holder and fill in with little candies and put a napkin around it and tie it with a ribbon.. Us kids would load up the wagon and pull it around to the 17 houses in our town put the may baskets on their door steps and knock on the door and run.

THE MOVE!!!

The move... something I wished I would have done 5 years ago.  Funny how we are creatures of habit. When I built my house almost nine years ago, it was with the intent that I would stay there for a couple of years and then sell.  Obviously, I did not need a 4 bedroom, 4 bath 3500 square foot home...but just got comfortable there.  Now I am living in an awesome active senior complex that is like living at a resort.  Of course, apartment living is a dramatic change in size from a house and it has made for alot of donating.  I had a walk in closet plus two other closets filled with clothes before and now I have two closets that are the size of one of my previous closets.  There is always some kind of activity going on here and always some kind of FOOD. My justification for that is that it is a 100 steps from my door to the elevator and another 100 to the parking lot.
